Introducing uKit: A Better Way to Build a Business Website

uKit is a DIY website creation platform with highly attractive and responsive templates. Created with even the least tech-savvy user in mind, the platform allows micro to medium sized businesses to create powerful, professional websites and maintain their digital identity with ease.

Our Beta

Things rarely go fully according to a plan and the current way the Internet evolves demands that developers get feedback from their users as soon as possible. That is why we are launching uKit into an open Beta. We want users to help us fine-tune the details by… well … simply using uKit.

While our team is gathering feedback uKit is going to be free for all users. So now is a wonderful time to create a business site of your dreams at no cost.

uKit is the best Drag-n-Drop website builder I ever tested. Keep up the good work, uKit! I'm more than sure that you will have a big success. smile

If you want an easy to build a presentation and mobile-friendly website, using only a drag-n-drop interface, uKit is the way to go.

In your case, I feel you need to do a lot of website personalization and must write a few lines of HTML/CSS, maybe add some side-server scripts here and there. uCoz offers you complete code access, which caters more to advance website creation needs, combined with high project scalability. Given this, I definitely advise you to try uCoz, if your project is slightly more complex.

A few examples of uCoz powered websites: http://www.affordablecebu.com/http://vectorboom.com/ or http://www.nanakesse24.com/

In any case, the best way to decide it so register on both and see which one fits your objectives. It takes only a few minutes for each! Please let us know if you have additional questions.

Well, if you want to create this kind of service, it's better to get better at coding and I'd recommend you to try uCoz.
You can study uCoz's textbook regarding website creation in-depth and ask for additional support from other users when creating your website here: http://forum.ucoz.com.

Unfortunately i will not be adopting uKit as there is no free/ad version like there is with ucoz. There are plenty of platforms out there that offer easy drag and drop website building, ones that are not in beta and have been proven to be easy to use. The advantage I see with ucoz is the free option for people on very limited budgets. With no free option for uKit I have no incentive to use it.

Thank you for your feed-back BC. uKit offers a free 14 days trial, so you have the opportunity to fully enjoy the system's capabilities. Nowadays, small businesses and startups need to differentiate even more and maximize their online presences to attract more customers. uKit offers both speed and ease of use at - we feel - affordable rates for a small investment, while small business owners/managers can use their extra time to focus more on customers and business development.
uCoz, on the other hand is targeting a different type of users, mostly webmasters who are in their early days and have both the time and desire to explore the avenues of website development. If you feel that you fit the latter profile, I definitely recommend you uCoz!.

Currently, from a technical perspective, uKit is fully open to the public!
Basically, the code uKit generates is semantic, standards-compliant and highly optimized for SEO. The system is and will be in continuous development with the help of the constant feed-back received from the users. The FAQ materials are also under development and we estimate that by the beginning of August 2015, the section will be fully released. If you have any question or need fast assistance you can drop us a line here or directly contact the Technical Support. We also provide Live Support inside the Admin Panel of your Website, so please feel free to reach in any way. Hope you'll enjoy the uKit experience!
