Search Box for Ecwid

Want to make it easy for your customers to search in your store? In this update, we have added a search option to the Ecwid store that provides quick and relevant search among all the items you have for sale.

Ecwid searches products over the following fields:

  • product name
  • product description
  • product SKU (stock keeping unit)
  • product options
  • category name

To display a search box for your online store, open Ecwid settings > Enable search:

Email Verification

Imagine someone created a high traffic website and put your email address in the contact details? To avoid this scenario and prevent spamming, we ask the owner of the email address to confirm that they are the same person who provided it. Otherwise, no message can be sent through a Contact or Order Form connected to this email. The verification procedure is simple — you will only need to check your inbox and click on the verification link.

I think the plugin for Ecwid is outdated one. In the latest, the default products are clothing where as in your plugin, they are laptops. could you update in your control panel design? I have whitelabel Ecwid. will it work here with my logo?

Thank you for your feedback - I will forward it to be taken into consideration.
As for Ecwid, it can be integrated both by custom code or via the widget included in the site. Considering you have a WL it's best to check with Ewcid if in your case it's better to use the custom code option or a simple login via the widget will be enough.
